Fruit Bat Bookshop was created for those who find themselves drawn to stories of other realms and the darker side of romance. Our collection of Romantasy, Fantasy Romance, and Dark Romance* books is curated with the hope readers will find new characters and stories to obsess over connect with.

We (ok, FBB is a one person operation, hello) believe there is power in reading fiction. Beyond the entertainment and escapism lies cognitive expansion, solace, healing, knowledge, emotional depth, and connectivity. Yes, even the stories of monster romances, Fae and morally black Mafia Kings.

FBB is based in the Baltimore, MD area and is currently online only with future brick-and-mortar plans. Unless the owner is kidnapped by Fae.
